Fairly impressive and good reseller’s job lot of “MG” / “SUN”, “A.W.”, “ß”, “UNROC”, “SIMBA”, “MZT” gold plated buckles.
There a good bunch of mixed – gents / ladies – gold plated buckles, many new old stock from great makers of the 2nd half of the 20th century. Many of which seen on makers like Vacheron, LeCoultre, AP, Patek, etc.
Various styles, from dress to military or sports. Sizes vary from 8 to 14mm.
I have split the lot in 4 sections:
Section 1, top left:
Most are wire bar Swiss made buckles. Many of these seen on 1970’s Rodania, Marvin, Roamer, etc.
Row 6, section 1: these are gents buckles.
Row 5, section 1, last piece left to right: that is a Cartier buckle.
Section 2, top right:
These are “MG” / “SUN” Swiss made gold or rose gold plated buckles, ladies.
A few have different stamps.
Section 3, bottom left:
Military style buckles. The first 3 rows, section 3, contain various gents buckles.
Row 1 two flat buckles, these have been occasionally spotted with Rolex stamps.
Some are wire bar versions. Some have missing tongues or pins.
Section 4, bottom right:
These are “A.W.” profile mostly. As well a couple “Banda”, “Unroc”, “Simba”, etc.
The A.W. profile buckles have been seen fitted on Patek Phillipe, Audemars Piguet, Vacheron Constantin, LeCoultre, etc.
Mostly ladies. Row 3 and row 4, section 4, contain gents buckles.
The sale is for all material you see in pictures. Some may have storage marks or small defects.
