Rare art deco Omega CK 1055 cal. 37.5L coin case pocket watch. The watch has been manufactured around 1940’s.
Two tone bulls eye silver sector dial with Roman numerals. Dial has plenty of marks, but original condition. Fitted with a lovely blue “Pontife” or oversize “Lollypop” hands set, in good condition.
The low dome crystal has developed a yellowish patina from aging, most likely being celluloid.
Lovely Staybrite steel coin case. The back opens and closes nicely with a crisp sound, however bezel is a bit loose and gets off just by hand. Case shows age related marks but remains in original condition, never refurbished.
Inside case back serial, logo and acier staybrite mark. Case ref. is CK 1055 according to literature (AJTT, Marco Richon).
Lovely stylized pendant tube, specific to the Art Deco period.
Popular, sturdy, gilt finish 17 jewel mechanism cal. 37.5L, signed Omega.
Movement is in fair condition however service history is unknown.
Diameter of the watch excluding the pendant is ~45.60 mm.
Diameter including pendant ~54.00 mm. Thickness is ~9.60 mm
