Vintage 60’s Universal Geneve Polerouter ref. 204604 cal. 218-2 micro rotor automatic gents wristwatch.
The watch is offered in as found condition, for parts or repairs. Movement is complete and looks rather pleasant, without noise in the rotor, however there seems to be a problem in the balance pivot, likely one of the ends is bent or broken, so it will need some attention.
Lovely silver dial, which has developed an interesting “Creme Brulee” patina with brownish small aging spots and oxidation marks.
Crystal is heavily scratched and its hard to make a clear judgement for to the dial, however i can assure you it is splendid.
Steel dauphine hands are matching dial condition, with some oxidation marks here and there, but otherwise beautiful and original to the watch.
Universal Geneve Cal. 218-2 micro rotor calendar movement. Watch winds and sets correctly, however balance staff needs attention.
Steel case is in good overall condition. Case back retains serial and reference to the back which is rare nowadays.
Crown is worn off but operates correctly.
Diameter: ~34 mm across, not including the crown.
